Job Hiring “Tile Cutting Machine Operator” Marigold Manufacturing Corporation

Job Description

Main Job Description with Duties & Responsibilities:

Main Function:

• To follow operating procedures in using and maintaining different tile cutting machines (score and snap machine, mitering machine, water jet machine) using specific controls and programs designed for the

equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Proceed with tile cutting once QC Specialist instructed to do so
2. Scan the QR codes on tiles to determine the cutting list for each large format tiles
3. Lift and position large format tiles to each machine prior to cutting
4. Input the cutting list in each equipment’s programs or controls
5. Collaborate with QC Specialist after machine cutting is done to manually check the tile measurement
6. and determine accuracy of the cut tiles
7. Confirm cutting of the tile in the system
8. Monitor and conduct periodic inspection of different machines and its parts to preempt troubles
9. Provide troubleshooting and periodic maintenance works for each machine handled

Minimum Qualifications/ Experience*:

• Have a work experience preferably in tile fabrication plant with CNC cutting machine or, at least an experience with the use of CNC cutting machines in different applications
• Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD etc.)
• Must know how to read and interpret technical drawings and cutting list
• Willing to learn and handle large tile cutting machines, water jet machines etc., including its troubleshooting and maintenance
• Willing to follow the standards set by the company with regards to procedures and workmanship for tile fabrication
• Accurate and strong attention to detail is a must
• Good and respectable communication skills with superiors, colleagues
• Willing to work in a manufacturing/fabrication plant setting
• Must be a resident of La Union or willing to work/relocate in San Fernando, La Union
• Required Language: English and Filipino

Required Certifications or Special Skills*:

• At least Vocational Graduate or Technical Degree in related field or College Level in Architecture or Engineering or equivalent
• Training Certificate or proven experience in using tile cutting machines or CNC cutting machine
• Training Certificate or proven experience in using a CAD software
• 3-5 years of related work experience
• With basic grasp of English language and willing to train using the English language
