Job Description

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Quantity Surveyors developing all kinds of take-offs required by the project: monthly progress, budget forecast, procurement, variations…
• Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.
• Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessments, and other documents.
• Advising managers and clients on improvements and new strategies.
• Keeping track of materials and ordering more when required.
• Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets.
• Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
• Follow project accomplishment, record quantities, compare with contract quantities, capable of analyzing potential claims.
• Supports the Project Director to prepare the comparison charts of every analysis of alternatives.
• Reports to the Commercial Manager during the construction phase.

Skills and experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience
• At least 5 years as QS Lead
• Bachelor’s Science in Civil/Mechanical engineering
• Upper intermediate level in English (verbal and written)
